Este hecho hist\u00f3rico est\u00e1 relacionado con el proyecto de reintroducci\u00f3n que este organismo inici\u00f3 en 2007 en los Esteros del Iber\u00e1, con la colaboraci\u00f3n del Gobierno de Corrientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La especie no solo se ha establecido en el humedal correntino, sino que adem\u00e1s ha comenzado a expandir su distribuci\u00f3n a otros sitios de la provincia, a veces alejados m\u00e1s de 100 kil\u00f3metros del Iber\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, por primera vez, los registros llegan desde el otro lado de la frontera, en Brasil. Bi\u00f3logos de ese pa\u00eds han obtenido once videos del oso hormiguero en c\u00e1maras trampa colocadas en el Parque Estadual do Espinilho, en el estado de Rio Grande do Sul, cerca de la triple frontera con Argentina y Uruguay.
