Manuel Santamar\u00eda, director de los Derechos de la Ni\u00f1ez y la Familia dependiente del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social, dialog\u00f3 con PUNTO DE REFERENCIA, luego de que se confirmaran 20 contagios en la instituci\u00f3n. Ahora, un grupo de enfermeros que ya est\u00e1n inmunizados prestan servicio en el lugar.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el Hogar Mar\u00eda de Nazareth habitan adolescentes de entre 14 y 18 a\u00f1os, algunas de las cuales a su vez son madres. All\u00ed se registraron 20 contagios de coronavirus hasta el momento. Un grupo de cinco adolescentes que dieron negativo fueron trasladados a un jard\u00edn de infantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manuel Santamar\u00eda es director de los Derechos de la Ni\u00f1ez y la Familia y trabaja con la instituci\u00f3n. En contacto con Punto de Referencia, confirm\u00f3 que los casos se detectaron cuando una de las chicas tuvo fiebre. \u201cDimos intervenci\u00f3n al sistema de salud y se le hizo un testeo porque ten\u00eda todo el aspecto de ser un caso sospechoso. Tambi\u00e9n se hisop\u00f3 a todo el personal de la instituci\u00f3n. A las 24 horas nos confirmaron el positivo de la chica, un directivo y dos orientadoras\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esto oblig\u00f3 a que los testeos continuaran \u201ccon todas las adolescentes que viven en el lugar y tienen un contacto mucho m\u00e1s estrecho con la chica\u201d, agreg\u00f3. Esto permiti\u00f3 sumar otros 17 casos positivos. \u201cUn equipo de la Direcci\u00f3n de la Ni\u00f1ez y del COPNAF tambi\u00e9n fuimos hisopado por mantener contacto con la directora de la instituci\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Santamar\u00eda quien ahora se encuentra en aislamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA partir de ah\u00ed fue un caos porque organizar una instituci\u00f3n con falta de personal\u201d que est\u00e1 aislado, adem\u00e1s del que teme contagiarse, explic\u00f3. \u201cHoy en el hogar hay un grupo de enfermeros que ya est\u00e1n inmunizados y no temen a un nuevo contagio\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobre el origen del contagio, Santamar\u00eda dijo que a\u00fan no saben con precisi\u00f3n el origen de contagios, ya que, al ser un hogar de puertas abiertas, \u201clas adolescentes salen\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTengo que decir que la Directora de este espacio era una de las m\u00e1s estrictas con las medidas de seguridad, al punto que deb\u00edan dejar los zapatos y abrigos afuera\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abAfortunadamente se nos ha rovisto de todo lo necesario para atender a las chicas\u00bb, remarc\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
