EUNICE GAUNA BADAR\u00d3 SE CONSAGR\u00d3 EN TORRE\u00d3N, M\u00c9XICO<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tras su coronaci\u00f3n como campeona en el XIII\u00ba Mundial de P\u00e1del Juniors disputado recientemente en Torre\u00f3n, M\u00e9xico, la correntina Eunice Gauna Badar\u00f3 fue recibida esta ma\u00f1ana por el gobernador Gustavo Vald\u00e9s, con quien comparti\u00f3 el notable logro para la Provincia y el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El encuentro tuvo lugar en el moderno Centro Administrativo ubicado en la el barrio San Benito, ocasi\u00f3n en la cual la deportista lleg\u00f3 acompa\u00f1ada por sus padres y por el secretario de Deportes, Jorge Terrile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la oportunidad, Vald\u00e9s destac\u00f3 el ejemplo de esta deportista cabal para Corrientes y puso de manifiesto la \u201cimportancia del deporte como promotor de valores y disciplina\u201d, adem\u00e1s de agradecer la visita de \u201cnuestra campeona\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEstoy feliz de que me haya recibido el gobernador Gustavo Vald\u00e9s, que siempre me apoya en mi campa\u00f1a deportiva\u201d, dijo Eunice, luego del contacto mantenido con el mandatario, agradeciendo adem\u00e1s el respaldo del secretario de Deportes, Jorge Terrile y de todos quienes la alentaron y acompa\u00f1aron camino a su consagraci\u00f3n mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eunice coment\u00f3 con orgullo que \u201cla tercera fue la vencida. Ya ten\u00eda dos subcampeonatos y esta vez se me dio. El objetivo era ganar el Mundial y pude conseguirlo, aportando mi grano de arena con la selecci\u00f3n. Esto es el resultado de un gran trabajo en equipo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa presi\u00f3n fue grande a medida que pasaron los partidos. Estoy muy contenta de haber llevado la bandera de Corrientes y del pa\u00eds a lo m\u00e1s alto del podio y conseguir la medalla dorada que tanto busqu\u00e9\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3 la destacada jugadora de p\u00e1del<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabe mencionar que Eunice logr\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo mundial, integrando el seleccionado argentino Sub 16, en el marco del certamen disputado recientemente en Torre\u00f3n, M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De esa manera, alcanz\u00f3 la consagraci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima, luego de haber sido subcampeona mundial en los cert\u00e1menes desarrollados en 2019 y 2017 en Valencia y Malaga, Espa\u00f1a, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eunice  clasific\u00f3 al Mundial de M\u00e9xico, luego de haber logrado su plaza en el Selectivo que se jug\u00f3 meses atr\u00e1s en Villa Carlos Paz, M\u00e9xico, donde fue campeona Sub 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La campa\u00f1a de Eunice en Torre\u00f3n, M\u00e9xico fue impecable, ya que junto a sus compa\u00f1eras de duplas, ganaron los cinco encuentros disputados, finalizando invictas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la final derrotaron 6-4 y 6-1 a Brasil. Previamente, en semifinales hicieron lo propio ante Italia, 6-1, 4-6 y 6-2. Adem\u00e1s de vencer en la etapa de clasificaci\u00f3n, 6-1 y 6-2 a Lituania, 6-0 y 6-0 a Estados Unidos y 6-1 y 6-4  nuevamente a las brasile\u00f1as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eunice es actualmente la n\u00famero uno de la Argentina en el ranking Sub 16 y es una de las grandes promesas de este deporte, no solo por sus condiciones t\u00e9cnicas y talento, sino por su dedicaci\u00f3n y el sacrificio que pone en cada entrenamiento, que se vio reflejada en una preparaci\u00f3n a conciencia en pleno contexto de pandemia, la que arroj\u00f3 sus frutos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobre sus futuros desaf\u00edos, Eunice coment\u00f3 que lo m\u00e1s inmediato es el Open a jugarse en Asunci\u00f3n del Paraguay y seguir manteniendo su privilegiada ubicaci\u00f3n en el ranking argentino, sin descuidar sus estudios, como ella misma lo dijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
