Desde el organismo comunicaron que los esteros y otros ba\u00f1ados fueron las vegetaciones m\u00e1s da\u00f1adas, seguidas de los bosques cultivados.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Instituto Nacional de Tecnolog\u00eda Agropecuaria (INTA) dio a conocer un informe elaborado por sus equipos t\u00e9cnicos que dan cuenta de la grave situaci\u00f3n que vive Corrientes a consecuencia de emergencia \u00edgnea que soporta. Se indica en la informaci\u00f3n que el 9 por ciento del territorio fue afectado por el fuego, causando millonarias p\u00e9rdidas en las actividades productivas y un desastre en la naturaleza de proporciones inestimables a\u00fan, pero que aseguran ser\u00e1n de enorme impacto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEn la provincia continuaron las escasas precipitaciones y las elevadas temperaturas que propiciaron las condiciones para la proliferaci\u00f3n de focos de calor, e incendios, espont\u00e1neos o intencionales\u201d, se\u00f1alaron desde el estudio, realizado por Griselda Saucedo, Ruth Perucca y Ditmar Kurtz, del grupo de Recursos Naturales de la Estaci\u00f3n Experimental Agropecuaria Corrientes del INTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las mediciones, obtenidas mediante teledetecci\u00f3n y los sistemas de informaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica, arrojaron que la superficie quemada al 16 de febrero es de 785.238 hect\u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En valores absolutos, la cobertura vegetal m\u00e1s afectada detectada en este informe son los esteros (y otros ba\u00f1ados) donde se duplic\u00f3 el \u00e1rea afectada pasando de 124.000ha a m\u00e1s de 245.000. Los bosques cultivados tambi\u00e9n fueron muy afectados, el \u00e1rea quemada aument\u00f3 casi 2 veces y media pasando de 12.000 a m\u00e1s de 31.000ha. El ritmo de progresi\u00f3n del fuego de los 9 d\u00edas (entre el 7 y el 16 de febrero) fue de casi 30.000 hect\u00e1reas diarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con respecto al \u00e1rea afectada por departamentos, Ituzaing\u00f3 presenta la mayor superficie acumulada por quemas, con m\u00e1s de 138.000ha quemadas. Sin embargo, con relaci\u00f3n a la superficie, San Miguel presenta el mayor porcentaje de su superficie afectada, con m\u00e1s del 30%. Monte Caseros es el departamento con menor superficie afectada total y con relaci\u00f3n a su superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todas las coberturas mostraron un incremento del \u00e1rea quemada. Los datos proporcionados por el Instituto de Clima y Agua (INTA Castelar) indican que la cantidad de focos de calor en los primeros 15 d\u00edas de febrero fue incluso superior a todos los detectados en enero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se espera tener un detalle mejor en un pr\u00f3ximo informe siempre y cuando se dispongan de im\u00e1genes de mejor resoluci\u00f3n espacial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El INTA comunic\u00f3 que informes como el mencionado se dar\u00e1n a conocer peri\u00f3dicamente en la medida que las condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas permitan obtener im\u00e1genes satelitales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
